Minisha Bhardwaj honored with the title of Art Ambassador of India

The affable, discerning and a world record holder (largest collaborative watercolor painting), Minisha Bhardwaj from the Doon valley, has been on a solo quest of Art, rather successfully. An activist and blogger, Minisha, chose to astray into Art based purely on a calling of her heart.

Minisha Bhardwaj is an award winning self taught international Artist, artist activist and an art curator currently based in India . She has been awarded Nationally and internationally for her charcoal techniques and innovative creations. Painting to her is not a taught art, rather an evolved art through life inspirations. She has to her credit over 200 exhibitions globally through several reputed art galleries and major of it being in Dubai Italy and India. Her art journey and art work has been mentioned in the most esteemed Art book “women artists around the world”

She has also received woman achiever and most influential woman award in the field of Art.

Minisha draws her inspiration from the life situations and focuses more on natural sensibilities, portraying the complexities of human emotions and expressions. Her speciality is in Charcoal domain watercolors and finger painting .

She recently represented India at ACW by zeearts founder Zaahirah Zabeen Muthy, under the  patronage of UNESCO for the 6th edition of Art Connects Women under the theme “Dare to Dream” from 8th to 11th March 2023.

Following 5 successful runs since its inaugural edition in 2017, Art Connects Women (ACW) once again took centre stage as the largest leading women art exhibition in UAE and the surrounding regions. Organised by ZeeArts Gallery from the 8th to 11th of March 2023, Dubai played host to an extensive array of art works by 112 women artists, each representing their home country (112 Countries) in this annual showcase of creative prowess. The 4-day art extravaganza aligns its purpose with that of International Women’s Day, thus centring its intentions on providing the most optimal women representation in the art sector while taking greater strides in empowering the female gender in achieving new heights – all these to be activated on a global scale.

 Minisha bhardwaj’s art work is now a part of  ” woman artists around the world”. It features best artwork from each country.

Two of her artworks are also chosen by Roxana the UAE poet for her book illustrations.

This theme of this exhibition is in line with the objectives of UNESCO as it promotes a genuine diversity of cultural expressions and equal opportunities in artistic work and cultural employment, and contributes to raising awareness about gender equity and women’s empowerment in the arts and the 2005 Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions.
