This lockdown taught us the importance of a lot of things that we generally overlooked. 2020 has been a year full of lessons. It taught us that there’s a world outside your world! That life is unpredictable and you never take anything for granted. More than anything it taught us the value of relationships. While some of us enjoyed spending time with our families, many others found solace in watching our favourite shows on Netflix and doing the things we never got time to do!
Netflix played a major role in our lives this year. We wonder what we would’ve done if Netflix wasn’t there! Netflix is overloaded with shows of different genres. So sometimes it becomes a task for us to find a suitable show for ourselves. Half of the time is spent in finding what to watch! We’re in it together, LOL!We have done all the research and tried to make your life a bit easier.
Here’s a list of a few not-so-popular Netflix shows of different genres that must be on your watch list next!
1. Dark- His friend’s brother is actually his father and his girlfriend is his maternal aunt and his mother is his grandmother..confused? Well, you bet! Dark is a bit difficult to get into and all the memes you see on facebook are totally relatable. But once you start binge watching it, there’s no going back!
2. Unbelievable– It’s a limited series show and you would complete in a few hours. This show is a story of how a young girl is accused of lying about a rape and how two female detectives unravel the truth.
3. Santa Clarita Diet– This show is one of the best and most underrated shows on Netflix. Once you find out Sheila’s insatiable taste for human flesh you’re hooked!
4. Sweet Magnolias– It’s such a cute show and you can totally relate to every bit of it. This show is all about three female friends and how they lift each other up as they juggle relationships. Not only the characters but you will definitely fall in love with the graphics and details of the show. We’re definitely looking forward to Season 2.
5. Ozark– Ozark is a bit slow and not everyone likes it. But once you start getting into it, you’ll find it’s one of the best shows you’ll ever watch! This show is all about money laundering, how a financial adviser drags his wife and children into it.
6. The end of the f***ing world– If you’re looking for some teenage love then this show is for you. It’s all about how James and Alyssa don’t leave each other’s side during the toughest of times.
7. After Life– Life is nothing when your spouse dies. It’s difficult to come to terms with their death. This show is all about how Tony tries to cope up with the loss of his wife.
8. When they see us– This show is based on a real case where 5 teenage boys were falsely accused of a brutal attack in Central Park, New York City.
9. Quicksand– It’s a swedish show and not many people are aware of it. This show is about a teenage girl who finds herself on trial for a murder after a tragedy happened at school.
10. You– We all have one Joe in our lives (just kidding!) Joe is a dangerously charming and obsessive man. Watch this show to know to what extent Joe can go to be with Beck.
